If you’re itching for a 4.7-inch device from HTC, but aren’t down with Windows Phone 7 on the HTC Titan,
Android fans can rejoice for the HTC Runnymede.
Currently rumored for release in the U.K. with a jaw dropping price of £530 (approx. $838) for an unlocked 16GB model and £560 (approx. $885) for the 32GB version, the image you see to the right is the first known press image of the device and was acquired by the folks over at PocketNow. Reportedly the HTC Runnymede will feature a single-core 1.5GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 16 or 32GB ROM with WVGA resolution. As for what flavor of Android you can expect, currently it is said to be running Gingerbread.
No word yet on if this will make it stateside, but our suspicion is that it will at some point, but no idea on which carrier it might be.
